This is one of my favorite books. Having grown up on the coast with a paternal grandfather in the timber industry & grandmother who cooked in the camps for the men. I have a sense for the people & their story. An amazing time in our history of people fighting for what they believed in to survive.
This is a fantastic book. Means so much to local history folks or anyone who loves a well written book. It is right up there with a Gentleman of Moscow!
